In recent times, the world has been plagued with various forms of violence, ranging from mass shootings to terrorist attacks, natural disasters, and pandemics. The year 2023 has been no different, with reports of over 200 mass shootings in the US alone. The situation calls for urgent divine intervention, as it is evident that human solutions alone cannot suffice.

As believers, we are called to seek God’s divine protection, which can shield us from harm and keep us safe in the midst of the chaos. In Psalm 91:1-2, the psalmist writes, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'”

This passage highlights the need for us to seek refuge in God and trust in Him for our protection. We can take comfort in the fact that we have a God who is willing and able to protect us from harm. In Isaiah 41:10, God says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

As we face the challenges of life, we must remember that we are not alone. God is with us, and He promises to strengthen and help us in our time of need. This truth should give us the courage to face each day with confidence, knowing that we have a protector who is more powerful than any earthly force.

But how can we access God’s divine protection? The Bible provides several answers to this question. In James 4:7, we are instructed to “submit ourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” This means that we must surrender our lives to God and resist the temptations and attacks of the enemy. As we do this, we can experience God’s protection and deliverance from evil.

Another way to access God’s protection is through prayer. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are told, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Prayer is a powerful weapon that can help us to access God’s protection and peace in the midst of challenging circumstances.

In conclusion, the world is facing unprecedented levels of violence and unrest, and human solutions alone cannot suffice. As believers, we must turn to God for His divine protection, which is available to all who trust in Him. Through prayer and submission to God, we can access His protection and experience His peace in the midst of chaos. Let us hold on to the promises of God, knowing that He is our protector and deliverer in times of trouble.
